Be A Friend To Israel

The worst thing that a nation can do is to go against Israel. Yet, that is exactly what many nations are doing right now. Arab nations are trying to destroy Israel. Even the United Nations is planning on giving most of the territory of Israel to the Palestinians. The worst problem for our own nation is that our president is in favor of what the UN is doing.

Nations Will Receive What They Have Done To Israel

God has warned all Gentile nations that whatever they do to Israel will be done to them. It may not happen today, or tomorrow, but it will happen.

Look at what God said. Obadiah 1:15 (Living Bible): “The Lord’s vengeance will soon fall upon all Gentile nations. As you have done to Israel, so will it be done to you. Your acts will boomerang upon your heads”

Look at what happened to the huge nation of Great Britain (England). In 1913, they declared that a large parcel of land that they controlled would be given to Israel for their homeland. However, in just a few years, they went back on their word and allocated just a fraction of the original amount of land to Israel. In fact, they declared that the Palestinians should have most of it.

What happened to Great Britain? In 1913, it was stated that the sun never set on Great Britain. In other words, their nation was spread all over the world. Where is that great kingdom now? It is located only on the small island that is now called England. Does it pay to go against Israel? No!

If the U.S. does not veto the U.N. Resolution that would form a Palestinian state without establishing Israel as a valid nation, disasters will befall America.

God’s Promise Concerning Israel

Remember what God said in Genesis 12:3 (NIV): “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

When a nation denies Israel what God has promised to Israel, that nation will feel the wrath of God. On the other hand, if we want God to bless our nation, we must in turn bless Israel.

God’s Promise To Israel

Joel 3:1-2 (NIV): “In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.”

Yes, this verse is talking about the final battle of Armageddon. However, notice what it is saying. God will bring judgment against who? God will bring judgment against those who scattered His people among all the nations of the world. This already happened. But look at the last phrase. God will bring judgment against those who divide the land of Israel.

If the U.S. does not veto the U.N. Resolution that would form a Palestinian state without establishing Israel as a valid nation, Joel 3:2 says that God will bring judgment against us.

If America blesses Israel by trying to help them establish their nation, God will bless America. However, if we curse Israel by not trying to help them to establish their nation, God will curse America. It is that simple.

Israel Will Not Be Destroyed

The world needs to realize what God has said about Israel. He has promised that in the last days, Israel would be back in the land that God promised to them. They would make their promised land a very productive land. This has already happened. Read my article Israel Makes The Desert Fertile.

Look at what God says in the book of Amos. Amos 9:13-15 (NIV): “The days are coming,’ declares the Lord……‘I will bring back my exiled people Israel; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,’ says the Lord your God.”

Look at the last part of that promise. God said that when they returned to their own land and made the land prosperous, that they would never be forced to leave again. If the United States government thinks that they can go against the Word of God, they are sadly mistaken. God said that once Israel is reestablished, it would never cease to exist, no matter what the world does. When God says something, it will happen.

What We Need To Do

We need to get on our knees and pray forAmerica. Our government is on a very slippery slope. Our president is on the verge of going against Israel. They are threatening to allow the creation of a Palestine state without establishing Israel as an established state. If our government does this, it will bring God’s curse uponAmerica.

It is up to us, as Christians, to do our best to stop our government from bringing God’s cruse down upon us. We need to pray that our government officials will recognize that God has established Israel and that we need to support Israel. It is only through prayer that this can be accomplished.
