Israel Makes The Desert Fertile

One of the signs of the end times is that Israel will make their desert fertile. That is, what used to be desert will grow a bounty of crops.

The Bible Predicted This

In Isaiah, we find many references to this such as Isaiah 35:1-2 (NIV) “The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God.”

God prophesied thousands of years ago that when Israel returned to their own land that it would change from a desert into a blossoming garden. This is exactly what is happening right now in Israel.

The Media Is Not Reporting This

All we read in the newspapers and on TV is about all the water problems that Israel is having. All we hear about is the political tension in Palestine. If you really want to learn about what is going on in Israel, you have to go to the underground press. The mainline press is going to say nothing good about what is happening in Israel.

Bountiful Crops Are Appearing In Israel

They say nothing about the miracles that are happening. Right now there are over 215,000 hectares (215,000,000 acres) of land that are devoted to crops. These crops include wheat, hay, cotton, sunflowers, green peas, beans, corn and much more. And it is reported that most field crops produce high yields and are of top quality.

How Are They Doing This?

How are they able to do this? It is because of their methods of irrigation. They use drip irrigation and buried irrigation that keeps any water from evaporating. They use spray irrigation that has an efficiency of 85%. They use sprinkler irrigation that has an efficiency of 70-80%.

They are using computers to monitor their irrigation. These computers are connected to moisture sensors that are buried in the ground. This provides them with the ability to give the corps only the amount of water that is needed for optimum growth. Thus, very little or even no water is wasted.

They are building greenhouses that can stand up to winds over 100 miles per hour. These greenhouses are climate controlled, again using computers to maximize crop growth. They allow automatic control of the greenhouse water, fertilizer and climate system.

This has allowed them to grow massive amounts of crops in very small areas. For instance, they can grow 300 tons of tomatoes per hectare per season. This is 4 times that can be harvested in open fields. They have even begun growing fruit trees in these greenhouses.

Water Problems Are Being Solved

Even  though the Israelis have been very efficient in their use of water, it does demand a tremendous amount of it especially in the Negev. This is accomplished by a massive system of pipes, conduits and tunnels that carries water from the Sea of Galilee, in the far North to the southern regions where it is needed.

There are two things that are very interesting about water in Israel.

1. Since Israel became a nation, rainfall has increased at a remarkable rate throughout Palestine.

2. It has recently been discovered that deep below the desert itself, there is a vast deposit of water. Some of this has already been taped and Israeli scientists say that it can water all of the Negev.

Keep Your Eye On Israel

Yes, the desert of Israel is fast becoming a garden, exactly as God said it would. The Jews are God’s chosen people and God is taking care of them. But the important point is that God said that this would happen just before Jesus came again. The Second Coming cannot be far away. Are you ready?
